The Graves brothers are cold-blooded mercenaries, running their business through a mechanic shop. They’re identical twins, but Zayden’s bloodlust is balanced perfectly with Dominic’s cool control.

When Zayden spots Blake from afar, it sparks an immediate obsession with her, an obsession that his twin is quickly drawn into by circumstance. Blake has two vicious and dangerous men wrapped around her finger and she doesn’t even know it. Both of the Graves brothers would do anything to have Blake, but they would do even more to keep her safe.

It’s clear very early on that Zayden and Dominic are morally grey, at best. They’re giving unhinged vibes on page one. The Graves brothers are identical twins, but in many ways, they’re complete opposites, which makes them perfect to read as a combination.

These men are right on the borderline of terrifying, dancing all over the hot crazy scale, with lots of mind games and knife play, but the care that they have for Blake is present in every interaction and it’s absolutely fantastic. Zayden and Dominic utterly worship Blake, inside the bedroom and out. They’re completely crazy, but also completely crazy about her.

The spice in Graves is passionate and dynamic, with chemistry infused in every word. It’s top-tier dark spice, the kind of book sex that makes for a great piece of kinky literature, but would have you running for your life in reality.

The trigger warnings are serious for this book. The author even gives us a “last chance to run”. Naturally, because I’m a deranged little nightmare, this had me excited to read whatever came next.

I read this book in a single day. It’s super fast paced and keeps the reader flipping pages with lots of drama and an easygoing writing style.

This book is super messy and over-the-top, which makes it super entertaining to read. Graves is a dark and obsessive story filled with a specific brand of red flags that make for a delicious romance.
