Aiden doesn’t want anything to do with his new fancy life as a Wellington, not even all the wealth and power that comes with it. He just wants to be an artist and keep his sister Alex safe. At his new school, his new last name, paired with his good looks meant he could run the place if he wanted to. But all he wants is to be close to Ella Doyle, the “freak” of the school who is a social pariah because of her violent father.

Things get more complicated when Sonny Cormac, a star football player and another son of one of the area’s elite families, takes an interest in Aiden and Ella too. The Cormacs and the Doyles have been enemies for years, but not even the violent history between the two families can tame the chemistry between these three. Their families are determined to keep them apart, and after one wild night together it’s clear their families will do anything to succeed.

Dirty Heirs is a two-part story. The first part takes place while the characters are all seniors in high school, and the next part picks up eight years later. The plot largely surrounds the relationship itself, and the character’s family’s reactions to the relationship. There isn’t a ton of action, but there is a lot of emotional tension and all the smoking hot spice.

This story is short, sweet, and to the point. If anything, I wish this story was longer, or separated into two books with more of these three. The journey seemed a little rushed at times, but it is nonetheless a lively read if you’re looking for a smoking hot, fast-paced, forbidden romance.
